October 2008 – Roy Lazarovitch's animation movie "Connection" was accepted to the film festival in Washington.
October 2008 – Tal Zobletzky's animation movie "Naked tree" was accepted to the film festival in Washington.
October 2008 – Oren Somech's animation movie "Falling in love" was accepted to the film festival in Washington.
October 2008 – Idan Suliman's animation movie and Roy Lazarovitch's animation movie "Connection" were accepted to the festival in Haifa.
August 2008 - Idan Suliman's animation movie "My King" won first place in the international animation and comics festival in Tel Aviv.
The Jury though that "The movie succeeds to create an emotional effect in a poetic story about a father and his son with a soundtrack which enters the stomach and with strong animation".
August 2008 – Simon Shore's animation movie was accepted to the international animation and comics festival in Tel Aviv.
May 2008 – Asaf Ben Arush's animation movie "The soft water" was accepted to the animation festival in Brazil called "Anima Mundi".
April 2008 - Idan Suliman is presenting in "Mix Art" Festival at the art biennale in Rishon le Zion.
April 2008 - Idan Suliman is presenting his illustrations in an exhibition called "The Last Time" and showing his animation movie "My King" in the "Open House" an alternative space for art in Jerusalem.

January 2008 - Roy Lazarovitch, a graduate student, started his apprenticing at "Animation Lab" studio in Jerusalem, where he will be creating a full length Israeli animation film.
December 2007 – The Video Clip "Every Day" which was made by Idan Vardi, Tal Zubletsky and Asaf Ben Arush was nominated to the best Video Clip contest in the music awards ceremony of channel 24 (The Israeli Music Channel).
September 2007 – Yoav Daube's animation movie "Alias" was accepted to the animation festival in Brazil called "FIAE"
July 2007 - The Video Clip "Every Day" which was made by Idan Vardi, Tal Zubletsky and Asaf Ben Arush was accepted to compete in the animation festival in Ottawa, Canada.
June 2007 - The Video Clip "Every Day" which was made by Idan Vardi, Tal Zubletsky and Asaf Ben Arush was accepted to compete in the prestigious animation festival in Annecy, France.
June 2007 – Asaf Ben Arush's animation movies "Funky Sabba" and "To go to return" were accepted to the 8th Israeli cinema festival in Marseille, France.
January 2007 – Animation movies of Minshar students were displayed in the "We Love Art" event which was organized by Tel Aviv Municipality.
Visual Communication
June 2009 – 2nd year students participated in posters exhibition which sites literature and poetry in Tel Aviv. The exhibition was in Beit Ariela.
June 2009 – The joint work of Yaronimus and Tomer Jerby called "stone pile" will be shown in the Biennale in Venice in an exhibition called " mymementovid".
December 2008 – In a contest to design the new open university logo, a logo by Dan Mor, a 3rd year student, came to the final level of the contest. The winning logo was not yet announced.
November 2008 – Liza Zabreski, a 3rd year student, presented some of her paintings and drawings in "Hall of Culture" of Rishon Le Zion.
November 2008 – Asaf Ben Arush's animation movie "Soft Water" was included in a collection of the best Animation films 2008 that was issued by the "Animation and Comics Museum in Holon".
17/11/08 – The opening of an exhibition "Students illustrating "Saloma""
This is the second year in which the Israeli Opera is collaboration with Minshar. In the framework of this collaboration about 30 students from the Visual Communication department illustrated Posters inspired by the opera's plot and music. The exhibition was presented on the 2nd flour of the Opera building during "Saloma" concerts and decorated the concert's catalog.
August 2008 – Yael Meiri designed and photographed Ruth Dolores Wise CD called "Be Ivrit".
August 2008 – Shahar Ben Sidi's final project, "Love Conversation" was selected as one of the best 10 projects of the year in Visual Communication by the "Haaretz" newspaper.
March 2008 – Oren Somech participated in the exhibition "Creating a place" in Hadassa Galery for art in Jerusalem.
July 2007 – Idan Vardi won the contest of designing a poster for the Opera "Force of Destiny" of the Israeli Opera.
May 2007 – Sivan Zadki designed the winning poster for the donation event "Fun in the Garden" of "Adam for Adam" organization and Tel Aviv Municipality.
April 2007 – Korin Sabin and Maya Vinik from the photography department designed the winning poster for the advertising of the Bat Sheva group show called "Bat Sheva's dancers creating".
Oren Somech illustrated the children book "the surprises bag of Aunt Monty".
The illustrations were printed in "Communication Arts" and won as best illustrations for children's book 2007.
Writing
July 2009 – "Ofelia" by Loren Milk will be published in the first issue of a new magazine called " Ms.Use".
May 2009 – Loren Milk participated in the 10th Nisan international festival of Peotry which was held in Me'rar.
April 2009 – Neta Atlasovitch's piece will be published on the next issue of "Maayan".
June 2008 – A gathering of first year students during the poetry festival in Metula titled: "It's nice to know you exist – a reading gathering with young writers.
December 2007 – Lital Shemesh's article "Playing with puppets" went to print in "Yediot Ahronot".
December 2007 – Loren Milk, a 3rd year student, published poems in "Mitam" magazine no. 12.
Eyal Datz, wrote in the web site "Walla News" and also wrote for "Time out" weekly.
Yoni Mendel, A graduate student of Journalistic writing department, is now operating as the editor of the Arab desk at "Walla News". He is also writing his PHD on the subject of "Language and Nationality" in Cambridge university, England.
Shaked Ahi Yuval is operating as the coordinator of the news division in Channel 2.
Loren Milk published a poetry book called "Proud to present" which was successful. She was chosen as commendable by the gay and lesbian congregation in the area of culture.
Elinohar Binshtok is now writing for "Rating" magazine and also is the aditor and producer of a magazine of art.
Rona Gershon is now broadcasting and producing a program about literature and writing at "kol Yisrael" radio station.
Avner Henman's short stories were published in a book called "sand Storm" and others went to print in several magazines such as "Maayan".
Photography
July 2009 – Tal Nisim, Noa Meger and Dudi Dayan's works appear in A5 Magazine number 8 "Hero".
June 2009 – Eli Aharoni, graduate student won a Printmaking competition in New York.
June 2009 – Daniel Kaminski, Vitali Krivich, Carmel Rubinshtain and Daniel Cohen's photos participated in an exhibition in Tel Aviv Cinemateq during the 4th Gay and Lesbian film festival. The Exhibition name: 100 years of pride.
May 2009 – Eli Aharoni's art work was shown in Beit Ariela, Tel Aviv.
May 2009 – Boaz Lavi's exhibition "Sunny Side Up" was shown in The Museum of Israeli Art in Ramat Gan between 1/5/09 – 1/6/09.
March 2009 – Tal Nisim participated in an Art exhibition on the opening night of "Asurim" Exhebition at "Asirey Ha-Machtarot" museum in Jerusalem (19/3/09).
2009 – Eli Aharoni and Naama Porat will participate in an art fair "fresh paint" which will take place in March.
2009 – Naama Porat will start the collaboration between Minshar and Tel Aviv Municipality culture department and will present a sole exhibition in "Beit Ariela".
2009 – The Jewish Museum in Vienna invited the students of the department to present their work in an exhibition concerning 100 years to Tel Aviv.
2008 – Galya Shezaf, a graduate student, is one of the exhibitors in a Museum in the city of Chongzing in China.
2008 – Boaz lavi, a graduate student, is working on a sole exhibition in the Ramat Gan Museum which will be opened around June 2009.

2007 – Elad Rabinovitch, a graduate student, presented in an art sale exhibition called "Bread and Roses" at Minshar Gallery. He is now also working on a sole exhibition which will also take place at Minshar Gallery.
2007 – Boaz haftzadi, a 4th year student, founded "3 meter" gallery in Florentine, Tel Aviv.
2007 – Guy Pitshon published his photos in German magazines "Blond" and "Playboard". He also participated in an exhibition called "Klanart" which was presented at the "Slow Moshe". He also participated in an exhibition called " Olliewood".

2006 – Inbal Yona Levi, a graduate student, was chosen to present her photographs in "Miss America" exhibition at "House of Artists" in Jerusalem.
Art
December 2008 - Students of Minshar Art Department received the title the most exceptional school for Art in Tel Aviv for the design of mobiles in a project of Tel Aviv Municipality.
The winning mobiles will be enlarged and shown in Tel Aviv Museum of art plaza and later on in several other places around Tel Aviv
June 2009 – Omer Gal is participating in an exhibition called "Tzhevet" (hepatitis ) in the "Urbanix" Gallery in Tel Aviv.
March 2009 - The mobile called "You are here" which was made by Aviv Maoz, Sivan Yechezkeli and Yaron Haviv won the 1st place in the mobile project of "the 100 years to Tel Aviv Administration".
